A favourite for more than 100 years

Sitting on Wambo Street since the 1850's, the Condamine Hotel is a solid old pub with imposing timber beams, corrugated iron and a well-used dart board backed by timber bearing the burnt-in brands of the surrounding stations. Dig into delicious food with your mates, grab a cold beer and kick back for a chat.

Throw in a
fishing line

The township of Condamine is a 4 hour drive from Brisbane, located on the meandering Condamine River and well known as a great fishing spot to throw in a line. You’re in the heart of Queensland cattle country here

Don’t miss a large replica of the Condamine Bell, inscribed with the history of the township in the Condamine Bell Park.

After a great pub meal at our timber-clad Condamine Hotel, you can take a short drive (seven kilometres south of Condamine) where you’ll find Caliguel Lagoon. Everything about this camping destination centres on the water – it promises a good spot for kayaking, skiing, swimming and fishing.
